2010 Basic Infantry Course
Spring Statewide FTX - May 29, 30, & 31
Purpose: The Basic Infantry Course (BIC) is intended to immediately bring Junior members from all units of the Ohio Defense Force up to speed with their corresponding Battalion. While it is geared for people with minimal experience under their belt, seasoned members are welcomed to participate.
Ground rules: No alcohol onsite whatsoever. You are in training at all times; unless you sign out and leave the facility. No ammunition to be carried by trainees/ blanks will be used during the Final FTX. Instructors, Coaches, and Staff will carry side arms for security.
Meal Plan: 5 meals (Saturday dinner, all day Sunday, Monday breakfast) are provided for $10 (total) per person.
Accommodations: Sleeping quarters are in the squad bays (no tent camping), 1 floor will be Men only, with areas separated by battalion. Another floor will be designated for ladies and children. Bring cot or ground pads (concrete floors).
